Social Work and Therapy Services
Everybody is on a recovery journey. Our therapeutic services are here to help you along the way.
Our NDIS therapeutic services have been developed to support you to better understand yourself, your disability and how to make it work for you so you can live a life of your choice. We are currently offering Social Work Therapy and Biopsychosocial Assessments.
Therapy Services
Our Therapy Services provide focused psychological strategies to help you better understand yourself, your disability and manage how it shows up in your life because we know that knowledge is power. Our goal is for you to walk away with the tools and strategies you need to reduce the impact it has so you can live a life of your choice.
We do this by drawing on acceptance and commitment therapy, psychoeducation and strengths-based approaches, through strong trauma-informed and social justice lenses. Put simply, we don’t see you as someone who needs ‘fixing’.
We know everyone has faced trauma and adversity in their lives that can impact upon them and how they show up in the world around them. You are a valuable, whole human and we are here to help you see your unique strengths and the resources you have to navigate through the challenging times.
Assessments
Our team can complete Biopsychosocial assessments which aims to understand who you are and how your disability impacts on your life, as well as, the lives of the people around you.
We conduct these assessments through a combination of an engagement model (we do as much of this as possible through informal conversation) and standardised assessment tools. The tools we draw on will change depending on your circumstances and needs.
Assessments typically take 2 hours, which can then be followed up with a supporting letter (1-2 hours) or complete comprehensive report (6-8 hours).
Pricing
We charge at the Social Work Therapy and Assessment rates as per the NDIS price guide for both therapy and assessment services.
Our Team
Hi - I’m Eva. I am a Social worker with 11 years experience in the mental health sector. I have my qualifying masters in social work. I believe that everybody is on a recovery journey and part of my role as a therapist is to give you the tools and strategies to keep moving forward.
I am a Mum of a beautiful 4 year old and through my own lived experience and the experience of having a son with additional needs, I understand that the path to recovery is not a straight line and sometimes we need a bit of extra support along the way.
I am passionate about social justice and supporting individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds to feel accepted and included in their communities. I believe deeply that part of our collective recovery is addressing the systemic barriers that cause injustice and create cycles of intergenerational trauma.
